Jesse Sanchez
Dallas, TX
Restaurant manager

Jesse was born in Mexico and was brought to this country by his parents. He worked as a busboy and now manages the family restaurant and is proud to be an American citizen. It's hard for him to get away - his family has to fill in - so Tyson's Anytizers has provided a satellite video feed for his family at the restaurant. His mother, brother Juan and his daughter Jessica are shown. Jessica is why Jesse is here - she went online and put his name in and the dates that he could be there. [Transcriptionist's note: Jessica looks 7 or 8 years old.]

What is going on with these Tyson's Anytizers?! This particular one was a pretty simple question, too!

Knew questions 1-3 fine, Question 4 I would've had to ATA as well, 5 I had an inkling of the right answer but were I actually at the Hot Podium, I would've probably jumped it. Question 6 was probably the easiest of the stack. Ah well! Can't win em all I guess

Uh, oh, another Tyson's hookup. These haven't gone well - I don't think any of the contestants getting this have won over $1K. Also Jesse is a "reluctant contestant". Did his daughter really enter all the info online for him?

I think Sarah Palin has a summer home here; that's how she could see Russia from her porch.

I'd be using ATA also. What BB lost a round 2 because he didn't know where the sitcom "Moesha" took place?

This is the second time in a short span that it seemed to me that Meredith was trying to help the contestant avoid a wrong answer. It happened with the question about the Better Homes & Gardens cookbook last week, and it happened again here.

And if I was currect in my surmise, another Tyson tie-in gets only $1K.

You're correct. It's the Curse of the Tyson's Anytizers!

I don't recall if they mentioned where Jesse auditioned. If he went to a cattle-call road audition, there is no online registration beforehand. If it was in NYC, she might have signed him up online, but it would still be a significant effort and cost on his part to travel there from Texas.
