Question #6~ Chill Places
On a US Map, which of these spooky-sounding destinations is located the furthest north?
A: Bloody Springs, MS B: Witch Lake, MI
C: Devils Den, CA D: Skull Valley, AZ
JTQ #2 used.

[Obscure] Spoiler: Answer/Value/Bank
B: Witch Lake, MI
Question Value: $1,000
Bank: $35,000
This seems like a waste of a lifeline. I have no idea about the precise location of any of these 'spooky-sounding destinations,' but the question does tell you the state in which each is located, and insofar as the southernmost part of Michigan is located further north than the northernmost parts of any of the other three states, it would seem obvious that the answer is the place located in Michigan. I suspect that, like me, she had no idea of the actual locations of the different sites, and just drew a blank, not stopping to think for a moment about the huge clue that was there.

But yet another geography question to trip someone up.

It was third from the bottom on the prerandomized stack. Could be another case of the randomization messing with someone's head.

Really? She had to JTQ on this one? I guess she couldn't separate out "Michigan" from the others.

It would seem to be obvious - Ann Landers is the one who gets letters on all sorts of subjects.

This isn't just geo-nitwitism. It is just plain geo-stupid.
