This seems like a waste of a lifeline. I have no idea about the precise location of any of these 'spooky-sounding destinations,' but the question does tell you the state in which each is located, and insofar as the southernmost part of Michigan is located further north than the northernmost parts of any of the other three states, it would seem obvious that the answer is the place located in Michigan. I suspect that, like me, she had no idea of the actual locations of the different sites, and just drew a blank, not stopping to think for a moment about the huge clue that was there.

But yet another geography question to trip someone up.
