The stock market can't win!

So the stock market is down because of recession concerns.

So the Fed lowers interest rates.

So the stock market is down today because of "rate-cut concerns"!

If anyone comes to you and claims to understand the stock market, place both hands firmly on your wallet and checkbook and run away as fast as you can.

Which investors did they interview that gave that reason for selling today?

This is like the political pundits explaining "why" one candidate is up in the polls and another is down, except that financial reporters come up with reasons why the market is up/down every single day!

Yep, I've heard the "experts" give the exact same reason for the market going up one day and why it went down the next!
