Since we never learned anything else about her, shall we put her down as a potential hyperventilator?

As question #9 (unrandomized), I don't think we could assume that the most obvious answer is correct. So, out of all the stupid, obsolete, yet still on the books laws there might be all around the world, why would anybody know about this one?

Asking the audience on a science question which--if you haven't memorized the trivia--required some math to work out the answer! Aida was brave to go with that slim plurality, even if she did have the same hunch.

So this is a new gimmick - threatening to have an uncontrolled nervous reaction (vomiting, hyperventilating)?

Well, I don't know if it isn't that she isn't married or that modern brides don't observe the niceties, but this should have been obvious.

Nihil obstat®.

I think part of it may be that with people tending to get married later in life, the parents aren't always the one footing the bill as they usually were back in the old days. I had to remember back to my first wedding (not a fun pasttime) to get this.

Add that one of those two items needed to do the math was worth $1 Millon in the early prime-time days. This was only the third item from the top unrandomized; maybe the actual fact, which I've heard and remembered, has come up in pop culture or movies.

I have never been married, never will get married, and have never even been to a wedding or received an invitation to one.... but I'd have had no problem with that question. I've seen plenty of invitations tacked onto the bulletin board at work.....

Only one has ever been married.... twice.

Both courthouse ceremonies.... both thrown together without much planning....

And no I didn't go to either one.... what's the point?

Or for those whose parents don't buy into the 'you have to pay for everything just because your daughter decides to get married to some loser' nonsense......
