Bad news locally. A beef processing plant that was the largest employer in the town is shutting down the slaughter side and cutting its work force by 60%!! The town has already lost a couple of major manufacturing plants, and other companies are struggling.
The ripple effect of 1500 people loosing their jobs is going to be terrible.
I am very thankful for my job right now.
