Skoop's Idol Rundown for 1/23

#1 Post by T_Bone0806 » Wed Jan 23, 2008 8:28 pm

It stunk tonight.
Spoiler
Frankly, some of the ones they said no to weren't any worse than the ones they sent to Hoillywood. They only showed 4 passers..and two were together:

:15-:18 Jeffrey and Michelle
:25-:30 Amy (an "ohmygawd" type teeny who annoyed both me and Simon...she lost me even before she started saying "like" every other word, when she said "whatev"..as in "whatever"..if she goes far in this season I quit)
:34-:37 London

That's it. Like I said, folks like the first two of the night and the gal at :43 (Lindsey) weren't much worse than the 4 tonight that got put through. I hope there's someone better hiding in the other 19 that made it from South Carolina than what I heard tonight.

Yuck.

Nobody gave me the WOW factor tonight. Maybe what the duded said earlier about what the judges said about Charleston was true after all.

Spoiler
It was worse than that, she said whatevS! I will admit to saying whatev sometimes (although it's usually meant to be arch) but sticking the S on the end is just indefensible.

Spoiler
Amy wasn't quite in Mikalah Gordon territory, but Simon was dead on that about half (at least) would find her annoying. Please don't make the 24 is my thought.

Good call by the judges on a "no" for the air force pilot. Her back story seemed to be setting up a "yes", but her singing wasn't good enough.
