As I recall, there was an odd typographical glitch on this question when it was displayed on the screen. There appeared to be an extraneous diacritic or punctuation mark at the start of the quote, so it read: "'Don We Now Our Gay Apparel," which seemed to imply that the first word was a contraction.

Adam wasn't paying attention when we were all learning the legend of Sarah, huh?

But a real outdoorsman would do those 2,000 miles on snowshoes or skis! :P

Ouch! Another big audience dursting. I didn't have a clue and I didn't hit the pause button, so I just had time for a moment of concern, "why would 23% vote for snake?" before Adam made his choice.

It would have been useful to know that this was Question No. 10 in the unrandomized stack. --Bob

If I'm not mistaken I believe Sarah Palin made it a point to remind people that they are called Snow-Machines and not Snow-Mobiles. We always called them snowmobiles in rural upstate New York when I was growing up. Is there an actual difference between the two or is it a local naming convention type of thing.

Iron Dog uses the word "snowmobile" on their official web site.

"Snow machine" is the Alaskan usage for the same thing as a "snowmobile" in most parts of the U.S. In Canada they are also called "skidoos" generically in some places. Competitive racers and those who wish to be often call them sleds.

I'm good until this question. I'd ATA also and go home with the consolation prize because I'd trust the audience to know the answer.

Doubt it would have been enough for me to answer but recent travels to Egypt emphasized that the cobra, associated with many pharaonic motifs and frequently seen carved in tombs and temples, was the symbol of Wadjet, Goddess of Protection for Egypt.

Whether that might explain the 23% or the choice of the name for the line of jewelry for Brangelina I couldn't say.
