I wonder if Alexander had any llamas on that river crossing?

Simply unbelievable. A graduate student in history and he doesn't make the automatic association of "Rubicon" with "Julius Caesar? <*Sheesh*>!
And does he count as a llama since he gets the $1K "booby prize"?

We've had discussions about the term, but we don't have a policy for making official definitions around here. My opinion was to reluctantly agree to retire the llama. Aside from the fact that nobody is a $0 winner any more, and that everyone who misses any of the first ten questions leaves with the same $1,000 consolation prize, the randomization of question difficulties means that missing the first question is not necessarily the easiest question. (In this case, it was question #9, unrandomized.)
Being a history major, Reed will be haunted enough by this question.

I feel sorry for his future students. And don't you have to be a former rassler or in a movie with Arnold to be governor of Minnesota?

We should start using the term "Rubicon" instead.
