He still made quite a comeback, though, after burning three lifelines in the first four questions. Honestly, I thought he'd be long gone sooner.

Oh for the day of the 50:50. It might have been useful here. Using all lifelines in the first 4 questions doesn't bode well.

Well, he rallied pretty well. There used to be a show that my mother watched that had members of the King family - it was a sort-of Lawrence Welk type show.
