I'm not sure the audience would give you a clear enough answer with ATA. "Dear Mama" did get some airplay but I don't think it was really mainstream. But I love this stack, too! I may have lost my ATA and JTQ on the Little Bighorn question though.

This was Bernie Cullen's million-dollar question. Ignoring Regis's advice, he correctly used ATA before using his 50-50. The ATA gave him a fairly significant spike for what proved to be the correct answer, and 50-50, of course, confirmed that it was a possible choice, so he went with it. (I ran into him a few years later on the Jeopardy! board and he said that he was, in fact, trusting the audience because he did not know the correct answer himself.) --Bob

Well, Ms. Collins must have been the contestant the producer was telling us about in the rehearsals. "The Runaway Bunny" might've been a harder question if the publisher hadn't promoted it heavily a few years ago as a "companion volume" to Goodnight Moon. Still, if she's not a parent, it was a good get by the contestant. Mileva Maric seemed a little easy for a $500K question ... the last pages of "Einstein for Beginners" prominently features that Nobel Prize factoid.
