I can see why this was valued at $100K - Tuturro seems the least likely since he's the only non-African-American. I'd have been torn between him and Jackson.

Unless you've seen a few Spike Lee movies. Turturro was in every one I could remember seeing.

Unless you've seen a few Spike Lee movies. Turturro was in every one I could remember seeing.
I haven't seen that many, and I suspect that most people associate Lee with African-American actors only. It would have been interesting to see the audience answers, if that lifeline had still been available.

I haven't seen that many, and I suspect that most people associate Lee with African-American actors only. It would have been interesting to see the audience answers, if that lifeline had still been available.
I would guess the NY audience might do pretty well, as he's a fairly NY-centric director.

That sounds like incomplete information for answering the question. Can you list all of Spike Lee's movies and which ones each of the four actors appeared in? That's a lot to recall to answer the question; it certainly rates the upper tier in my opinion.

My response was not intended as the explanation of how I got the answer. It was in direct response to earendel's earlier statement that Turturro seemed unlikely, as he's not African-American.

When I saw the question, I could think of 6 that Turturro appeared in, but only 3 to 4 for each of the others, so I was pretty sure it was him.
