Shiprock, near Shiprock, NM. It's an ancient volcanic cone, now considered sacred ground by the Navajos as the Rock with Wings which brought them to this area.

I remember it from my summer 2007 trip, the same day I saw Four Corners. Four Corners was an "I can say I was there" moment, while Shiprock was an impressive sight.

Now you tell me!

I visited Four Corners during my Great Almost Coast-to-Coast Road Trip of '95, but I didn't get any further into NM than that little stretch of highway that leads to it.

Next time any of y'all are anywhere in the Four Corners area, give me a yell. I couldn't make it over to Moab the last time someone ran the Colorado, but chances are usually good.

But it's a good fit. I think he needs some shoes though. Isn't there a sign at the court entrance, "no shoes, no shirt, no sentence"?

I thought it read "no long sleeves, we supply the cuffs".
