Ummmm, why was Superman fighting Muhammad Ali? I'd have been a llama, here, not recognizing the trick. The Iran hostage crisis started in November 1979, so the Ayatollah wouldn't have been a villain yet, in the eyes of American comic book readers.

Very strange indeed, but there is an explanation:

This is where it might help to know that the question was at the top of the unrandomized topic tree. --Bob

From the bottom of that Wikipedia page:
In December 2009, DC Comics announced that it will publish two hardcover reprint editions of Superman vs. Muhammad Ali in the fall of 2010. While one edition will reprint the original story at its original treasury size, a deluxe edition (featuring a new cover by Neal Adams) will include additional content dating back to the original book's publication.
Hmmm. I wonder if that announcement is what brought this item to the question writers' attention?

When I was on two years ago, they said I could have 10 guests - I asked if it was possible to have a few more guests and they said no problem - so I would imagine that they've always let contestants 'get tickets to give away' - or to be more exact - provide names for the guest list.

I missed this before.

Unless they're prescription sunglasses, they don't have any lenses.

Thanks, Esto.

Now that TDC has been terminated, there would also have been time for Jeemie to ask for clarification before answering, regarding whether the sunglasses in question implicitly had any lenses. 8)
