#1 Post by BBTranscriptTeam » Mon Sep 27, 2010 3:26 am

Jean Smart
Actor

Jean is currently appearing in the remake of Hawaii 5-0. Jean says that when she was in the 3rd grade she was skipped ahead to the 5th grade, so she knows that she's at least smarter than a 4th grader. She had some blonde added to her hair yesterday and that may have taken away some of her brain cells.

BBTranscript Team,

At the bottom of this transcript, there is a tag mismatch which is causing question 3 to be hidden.

If someone would edit the transcript and add the closing bracket on the "/spoiler" tag for the answer to the old $250k question, I think the rest will match up and behave as intended.

Thanks for all the work that you guys do!

Don't worry, Jean, nobody else recognizes that strange sound, either. And TPTB have been so busy borrowing features from other shows, why not one from J!? :P

Oh, I know why. J! is that serious trivia show. :|

Really? I wouldn't have known that - her appearance as the governor of Hawaii was pretty short in the pilot episode.

Wrong show, Jean.

Pretty tough question to start off with.

I have no idea, so it's time for a lifeline. ATA because I'm pretty sure they'll know it.

Once again, Jean, wrong show.

Probably because Mario took up so much time that the other contractually-obligated contestant couldn't get on.

Jean's appearance, and her carryover non-appearance, got a paragraph in this entertainment column.

Jean Smart, the Emmy-winning actress who portrays Gov. Patricia Jameson on CBS' "Hawaii Five-0" reboot, was a contestant on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" a week ago, earning $27,500 for the Alzheimer's Association. She was struggling through her early questions on the syndicated daytime show hosted by Meredith Vieira when time ran out, but her round was completed off-camera, which is why she didn't appear in the following show. ...
Was it really completed off-camera or did TPTB make an executive decision that the following celeb's run was more dramatic?

I expect what really happened is that she completed on-camera but when Peter Gallagher took a whole half-hour, they dumped her segment.
