Maddie is studying for finals. When I tried to IM her, I got this message:

Auto response from ********* [12:59 PM]: Sorry, I am not avaliable at the moment. I am still studying for my bio final so I can get straight A's, apply to all UC and Ivy League schools, start off a career with a six figure salary, and have a satisying homelife when I am an adult, with 2.3 children and 2 pets of uncertain breed.

This just made me laugh, right out loud.

I like to imagine the kind of friends she has at this age for whom this would be funny.
