There's a balding overweight guy behind Meredith!

#1 Post by KillerTomato » Sat Jan 19, 2008 10:23 am

Just watched Friday's show, and realized immediately that this was the first of three shows I saw tape last year. We were told at the time that it would air on Monday, Feb. 11. So look behind Meredith, and there's a guy in a dark shirt, graying hair (what there is left of it), and carrying a few too many pounds in the second row...

And be sure to watch on Monday. If they leave everything in, it'll be rather memorable. And it'll be evident why they moved it out of sweeps month.
There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust while the infamous sit at banquets.

Ah, finally some "must see" TV.
I felt the change

Add a beard and glasses, and make it "Play to Pay for Your Wedding Week" (first full week of February, IIRC), and it'll be me in that seat. Unless the cameraman was jostled and moved the camera straight up over Meredith's head, though, it's unlikely you'll see me.

I had thought there were certain special vibes in that spot ...

Well congrats! But when are you going to be "that guy" sitting across from Meredith?

This is a very good question, for which I have no good answer. An audition attempt this year depends on either another well-timed auditing trip during which I can sidestep into NYC for a day, or hell freezing over and the AP's making a road trip into Boston. That is, indeed, the view of Merideth (no pun intended) I wish to have.

Excellent news! I have that show on a tape somewhere and I think I will be able to watch on Monday.

Thanks for the heads up.
