Now minus 4 degrees.
Wind chill 20 degrees below.
Wind chill warning until noon Sunday.
We call this miserable.
Kusch calls it "Spring".
Hope people are taking care of their pets.

I'm sure Al Gore will be around to explain it all to you.

We have a nice ground cover of snow here in Auburn with 2-4 inches expected. We get accumulated snow on average every 6 years. It's 34 right now and the temperature is steadily dropping.
My husband is on his way to the Atlanta airport for a 3:30PM flight to Rome. It's snowing there now and I'm a bit skeptical as to whether they'll get out this afternoon. Right now the flight status shows "on time". Right.....
The kids are loving it though. I'm sitting by the fireplace and intend to go nowhere. The baby has been sent home to his parents and I didn't even have a crisis while he was here. Maybe my luck has changed.

It's 8 degrees here, the snow is still falling off and on, and we're under a "winter weather advisory" until tomorrow morning. At least right now the sun is out-but it's not warming things up very fast. Brrrr.

Weather Underground currently has us 47 degrees colder than Barrow, Alaska (minus 17 here, 30 above on the Arctic Coast).
Great day for football.

Nice to see you too! And, hopefully, you will soon be seeing more of me once again. Things are starting to turn a corner at work - still doing six days a week, although they are working on that and trying to get me back to five. I am taking on some different responsibilities involving less stress...will be meeting with the big boss hopefully this week to go over what we will be doing. He assures me that my pay and my standing in the company will not be affected...and I will hold him to that. So we will see.
As for today...I plan on watching the game from the relative comfort of my home; I would not go to Lambeau today even if somebody gave me two 50-yard-line tix wrapped in a hundred-dollar bill.

If somebody offers that to you, though, accept gracefully. Keep the hundred-dollar bill and give the tickets to some 19-year-old sucker. Make sure he's unrelated to you, so you won't have to chip in for the medical bill to treat his frost-bitten ears and toes.

And you didn't go with him!??! My number two son left from Atlanta Friday night to visit a friend in Argentina for a few weeks. He's enjoying 90 deree temps while we dig out from the 8-inch snowfall we got over the weekend.
