WWTBAM Bored

LB didn't bother to close the computer room door before he went to bed since we were both sound asleep in it at the time, so we... I mean Spaz had unfettered access to all the good stuff. I watched while the monster grabbed the charger out of the cubbyhole on the computer desk and proceeded to chew it into two.... then three.... then four.... then five..... I think LB found six pieces scattered throughout the house when he woke up. That's assuming none got pushed under the couch or the icebox......

Now because of what he did, we can't have our can of Friskies this morning! This is unfair, and I am appealing to all our assorted mothers and aunties on the Bored to make LB reconsider. This is cruel and inhuman.....

So you must not turn your cell phone on much? My batteries will need recharging every week or so, even though I rarely have a call on it.

I hardly ever turn it on at all. If I hadn't had my nephew along with me at the ballgame Wednesday, and had it on just in case we got separated and he needed to call me, it would be 100% charged now. It is still showing all the bars though....

I turn mine one maybe three times a week, but I keep it fully charged, just in case. Last time I went to WDW with just my s-i-l and Erin, my s-i-l had almost a dead battery and no charger. It is SO ANNOYING if you're trying to meet up with someone and they can only turn their phone on for a few seconds every couple of hours....

Bring your mom here to lunch today! The more the merrier! Have her bring you a new charger and rag on her Rustang Love...

You know, since I left my free crappy Nokia on Mary Jean's roof rack around 2003 and I never throw anything away, I might still have the charger and all the accessories. I'll need to look on the closet shelf aka The Valley of the Outdated Electronics (anybody need a Ditto machine?). I might have sold it on ebay, but I'll check.

On the other hand, if you haven't gotten a phone in that long, you should be eligible for an upgrade and can get one of their free phones that are miles fancier than your current free phone.

On the third hand, I can send you the phone that I had with T-Mobile that I got in 2006, so it's ultra modern to you!

For the several years that I had to buy canned food (because Chloe had a hard time chewing dry and of course the other two hogs at the trough would eat all her canned food if they didn't have any of their own), those damned cats were SO picky. It HAD to be Friskies (or those little green cans of Fancy Feast, not the regular) and it HAD to be Shredded. And of course the big ol' economy boxes were always pate and meaty. I could very occasionally slip a sliced in on them, but that was a crapshoot........

Now that they're back on the dry, I bet they'd eat anything out of a can and be grateful! (Who am I kidding, they'd turn up their nose at it unless it was Friskies Shredded.....)

It's true - they use the word upgrade - but it means nothing. The free phone they will offer you is a plain vanilla
no frills model. There will come a day when your dinosaur will no longer be compatible and you'll be forced to

Check out the electronics bin at your local thrift store. Tons of chargers, both the indoor and car type are there to be found.
