Celebrity "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?"

If you watched last night, I think that the show finally demonstrated that Miss America is not a scholarship pageant (and Oklahoma needs to look into putting money into education).
[I am shocked that Miss America PTB actually allowed Miss America (who was Miss Oklahoma) to appear on the show. She showed great poise, but little educational recall. It really looks bad when Miss America does not know basic American history.]

Miss America should meet a criterion which in a completely different context has been used to describe Canada, that of having a great deal of geography and no history.
Actually in this day and age, I would not bother with the history part.

I watched this the other night and was dumbfounded. Although she looked poised and seemed to be enjoying herself, I seriously doubt she would have done well on say, Celebrity Jeopardy! I was screaming "PATRICK HENRY" at my TV on the last question. I also know that Lake Superior borders 3 states. Do they even TEACH geography anymore? I had to learn US geography in 6th grade-we had to study maps, and we were tested on where all the states are. I did pretty well on that test-having done a lot of traveling helped.
Please, no more Celebrity 5th Grader. This just makes the regular people on there look even stupider than they are.
