So, last Saturday, Big J and a young lady he met at the pool, had a "date", well, at least a "hang out" time at a local Starbucks. (He now has a fondness for vanilla bean lattes, yikes).
Monday night, they spent 1/2 hour on the phone...she phoned him.
Tomorrow, she and her buds are going to another pool for the teen swim, and she asked him to go too. It is a bit out of town, but he is so psyched to be 'sought after', that he has managed to bribe me to drive him there, then go and have coffee for an hour or so, then pick him up when it's over.
bribe included - vacuuming the whole apartment, two loads of laundry, and two dish washings.
I accepted.
