QOD 1/17 (Game 2 FJ)

#1 Post by ToLiveIsToFly » Thu Jan 17, 2008 9:35 am

The original production of this (as of 2006) recently-in-revival musical held the record for longest Broadway run until Grease knocked it off. Sounds crazy, no?

What is Wheel of Jeopardy
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

What is Fiddler on the Roof?

Thank goodness you included that last little clue [sounds crazy, no?]...or I would have been clueless.

Well, not completely clueless, of course (knowing that FOTR was in the top ten and recently had a revival), but less clueful perhaps.
