QOD 1/17 (Game 2 FJ)
The original production of this (as of 2006) recently-in-revival musical held the record for longest Broadway run until Grease knocked it off. Sounds crazy, no?

Suitguy is not bitter.
feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive
The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Well, not completely clueless, of course (knowing that FOTR was in the top ten and recently had a revival), but less clueful perhaps.jsuchard wrote:What is Fiddler on the Roof?

Fiddler on the Roof. Thanks for the clue. It is one of the very few musicals that I can tolerate or know anything about.
