It's that horrible Mary Jane's fault. I always knew she was shallow and selfish and sneaky.

I think things fell apart when Mary Jane discovered that spiders have thousands of babys at each pregnancy.

At least the marriage lasted longer than Eddie Murphey's

Think about the show Moonlighting, once Dave and Maddie did the deed, the show started sucking.

By having Peter and Mary Jane not remember their marriage, they can have another courtship. From what I read, their memories were erased, nothing was said about them not getting back together.
