Does this mean A mid-life crisis is over?

My husband finally decided to trade is 2004 BMW Z4.
It has basically been in the garage the past 2 years and
the cat uses it as a bed. Loves that soft convertible top.
Everyt time I would ask him why he wouldn't drive it,
he commented on how uncomfortable it is. Get rid of
the dumb thing was my suggestion.
I'm sure there hasn't been 1000 miles put
on it in the past 2 years.

He's gone to pick up his new 2008 BMW 7 series.
I haven't seen it yet, but it may be something
I might want to drive every now and then. :D
I never drove the Z4...not one time.

Edited to fix the subjectl...can't type today

Jeff's little brother has a BMW Z4. It's a cute car, though I wouldn't want to drive it because it's so low to the ground.

Congratulations on surviving the mid-life crisis.

I always said you have to fall into it and then someone has to pull you out of it. I drive an SUV, so it really seems low to me.

A midlife crisis may be over, but it sounds to me like the B midlife crisis is just beginning.

You could be right! Even though I edited my subject, I didn't do it very well did I? But maybe that was midlife crisis A & this is B. Wonder how many more there will be?

I usually use it as leverage. When he got the Z4, we were remodeling the kitchen. He kept telling me we couldn't afford granite countertops. When he came home with the Z4, he could no longer use that as an excuse. I got the granite countertops. :)

I'm now lobbying for which car I'll get in a month or two when it's time to trade again. I don't want to hear a word about what I pick, either.

That new BMW will do just about everything but cook your breakfast.
Heated steering wheel? Pul..ezz! Heated seats are one thing, but this car has air conditioned seats as well.

Bluetooth handsfree deal for your cell phone. Voice activated commands for the phone, radio, CD players. Has a screen that appears when you're backing to let you know if anything is behind you. Not a camera, but a sensor type thing....green, yellow, red....for the closer you get to something.

The 7 series provides a handsome vehicle. Personally, though, I'd rather have the Z4.

I'm sure a car with that many options already has it, but make sure it has Dynamic Steering Response, or whatever they call it in Beemers.

I haven't had time to look over the owner's manual. I'll check it out, though.

The owner's manual for my car has 536 pages. Good grief!

What's the difference between a BMW and a porcupine?
