WWTBAM Bored

I got real mail of my own, with my own name on the envelope and a stamp and everything! I am so excited, because I've never had my own mail before. (Even the vet, who likes me best, puts my mom's name on the postcards to remind her of my next vaccinations. Mom always says, "Annie, you got mail," but it's not like I can't read!)

This is a genuine Hallmark get-well card (Hallmark!) from my friend, Miss Christie1111. The front, with a photograph of a most handsome golden retriever, says, "As they say in Obedience School...." Open it up to see, "HEAL."

Miss Christie, thank you for thinking of me and thank you so much for this excellent card. I am so happy that I'm wagging all over. (Maybe it came yesterday, but maybe my mom was so excited about my good report from the veterinary surgeon that she forgot to look in the mailbox. Maybe. I am not judgmental.)

Gee, Annie, our vet always addresses the annual checkup reminder postcards to the pets themselves. You need to tell yours to get with the program. After all, it's not your Mom who gets felt up and probed in embarrassing places.

Now you know why I was so excited to send it to you. It was the most perfect card for you! I know you did very well in Obedience School and that you would pay attention to it.

I am glad it made you happy. And that you seem to already be following the instructions.
