Too bad there weren't any video cameras around yesterday afternoon - I might have been able to win $10K on "America's Funniest Home Videos". I was riding the bus home and pulled the cord to signal my stop. As I made my way toward the exit my cell phone rang. I fumbled in my pocket for my phone as I tried negotiating the stairs off the bus. Failing to do so, I did what one spectator called a "wonderful pirouette" to avoid falling flat on my face on the ground, landing instead on my left side. The bus driver put the bus in "Park" and got off to make sure I was all right, then as I got up she got back onboard and passed out "incident cards" to all of the riders. I assured her that I was fine (I was), and she finally went on her way. This morning I'm experiencing a little stiffness on that side but AFAICT there's nothing specifically wrong. Tonight I'll spend a little extra time in the hot tub after exercising.

Ten years ago, you might certainly have won the $10K on AFV for that move. Not these days.
