Englishers from Washington, D.C. are here to tell us how we should be farming. The Lord's agricultural methods aren't good enough, they say. Hah! (I got that word from somebody else on this board, and it means exactly what I want to say.) None of the government helpers nor that fellow in the White House look like they've ever raised a blister or a callus from hard work.

I am not a rebellious sort of person, but I may go home and step in manure -- on purpose!
You be careful out among them English.

I can tell them how to farm! Plant it, raccoons eat it, buy replacement from the grocery store, raccoons eat what ends up in the trash can. Repeat ad infinitum.

How hard is that?

Because Sprots is the boss around here and what she says, goes... regardless of whether it's true or not.

I'm wondering if I can get a Federal subsidy for my Raccoon Ranch now. Because it sounds like I'm raising raccoons, whether I want to or not...

Why not, I get paid to have a squirrel ranch. The checks keep coming in from Denver so long as I don't let them leave my premises.....

That sounds more like extortion to me!

Steve's on his way to Denver this afternoon. He already left, so it's too late for me to smuggle some squorrels into his suitcase for you. Darn the luck. :P :P

Nah--they entertain the cat. He can sit by the back doors and smirk at them because he's inside getting fed and they're outside dumpster-diving. It's his hobby.
