On top of the European city of Toronto that the writers put into the previous question, the writers put an equally obvious wrong answer into a $50,000 question. It struck me as odd that Bill didn't explicitly eliminate Gandhi first, considering that she had been assassinated 6 years earlier.

As for me, I would've Double Dipped on A and B.

I recall reading about Benazir Bhutto that she had a child while in office, so I locked on B as the answer. Aquino, I believe, already had children, and as mentioned, Gandhi was not alive in 1990. The expert seemed semi-confident (by process of elimination?) on Mary Robinson, but didn't sell it well, IMO.

A few years ago there was a series of books "written" by J.B. Fletcher - my late mother had purchased all of the ones printed to that point and I inherited them.

It's not Toronto - that's not even a European city. And Cannes gives the "palm d'or". So let's DD on Berlin and Venice.

My first thought was that it was Mary Robinson also. The expert would have been of little help, but I'd use that and ATA also just to see if I can get a decent chance at the answer.
