Hello. I read about this site on another board and decided to check it out. I am Laura Miller and was on WWTBAM last week. It was cool reading the transcripts for the show here! I had a great time on Millionaire and would do it again in a second! Nice to meet you all. :D

Congrats on your Victory on M* last week! I don't know if your show aired at the usual time here in L.A., we get preempted frequently in the winter/spring by the Lakers and in the Summer by the Dodger Games.
So I'm not sure if I saw your show or not?
How much did you Win? What Question did you end on?
Enjoy your :D money and your millionaire memories!

(Upon further review of your Transcripts, I did see your first show but not your second one). I wish I could've been your PHone a Friend for your "Snickers" question, that happened to be one I knew.

Welcome aboard and congratulations.

I haven't had a chance to watch your show yet, but it's been Tivoed and I'll check it out sometime this week.

Hopefully you'll stick around and join in on all the banter here. There are many great folks here to converse with, some who have made it to Millionaire and some, like myself, who are still trying.
There are also lots of games to play!

Congrats again.
Enjoy every sandwich

Congratulations on your win, and welcome!

As you can imagine, we love hearing "war stories" about the show. Would you mind sharing with us the story of your audition and trip? --Bob

Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

It's great to have you here, Laura. I'm glad you found us.

Now, because someboy (okay, Marley) posted a link to an article in your local paper just before your airings, I have a question for you. Did you get the furniture for which you were shopping before the call, or did you upgrade?

Congratulations, Sunday. Can I ask where your handle comes from?

You have one of the toughest, most thankless jobs in the world, if the transcript was right. Thank you for doing what you do.

Welcome, Laura! You've found a group of BAM fanatics and we love to hear "back stories" of contestants' experiences. If you have a mind to, please share with us, and stick around for the general badinage.
