I'm okay. I felt not so okay earlier, but mom changed my bandage, so that's better now. I got shivery for a while, too, but she found a nice blanket to cover me up. I wish I had one of those bathrobe thingies that she wears when she gets cold.
I'll get two more pills in a little while, and then I'll be even better. I don't know why that is, for sure, but I think it's because they come inside a piece of turkey. Turkey probably makes everybody feel better.

Everyone but the turkey, Annie. Everyone but the turkey. --Bob

I like to think of the turkey as the Evil Squirrel of the bird world.

We are very happy to hear you are doing well.
We were at The Boyfriend's sister's house for dinner tonight.
I told Angelina, The Boyfriend's 18 month old niece, about you.
We talked at length about you. It wasn't in language that anyone else could understand but it was a wonderful conversation, nonetheless.
Perhaps Angelina could be in your opera? She is quite the dancer.

That was very nice of you to tell Angelina about me.
I think anybody named Angelina would be perfect for an opera about a saint. I will send word to Casey, the dance captain, to work up some choreography for tiny two-footers, too.
If my opera doesn't get produced for a while, I would like to give a dancing role to my niece Isabella, too. She needs to learn to walk first, though.
I thought I would be able to work on my opera a lot while I was home this weekend. As it turned out, that only happened in my head. I kept needing naps. Traveling makes me tired, I guess.
