News Flash - Teen learns Mom knows stuff!!!!

#1 Post by a1mamacat » Sat Jan 12, 2008 1:08 am

Mom dint want to drive halfway across city in a rainstorm for the teen night at the pool.

Suggested the local pool had a teen night too, and was closedr and would be better on Mom. Teen night is a hour 1/2 of only 11-15s. No adults allowed.

"but nobody will be there but a bunch of little kids from grade 6"

Finally convinced him to be kind to Mom, and dropped him off. As I was pulling away, I saw him stop, look at a group of young ladies, straighten up, and start to strut.

I had to pull over. One simply CANNOT drive, while trying not to pee ones pants.

Two hours later, at 10 pm, I returned to pick him up. Waited in the car, like a good Mom, so no one saw me. Himself strolled out with two young ladies, walked them to the crosswalk, then sauntered jauntily to the car.

Sheepish grin, ruffled hair, and he got TWO, yes TWO phone numbers, and a 'date' tomorrow for the afternoon open swim....and she is "almost 15 Mom".

Then, very quietly "ummm you might have been right.".....

Maybe there is a God after all.

Very cute story. I'm glad you came out a winner on this one. :)

Now, THAT took a lot of guts to say!

You want to see some male-child type struttin', just you wait until he gets his drivers license.

A classic Saucy!

I hope you also print this out and save it for a future need.

Way too funny.

That's got to be the greatest feeling to watch your kid strut. . .

How often do we get to be the fly on the wall?

made my chuckle of the day!
