$400 - Driving along this Interstate that runs from New York City to San Francisco, the Nebraska section takes over six hours!

$600 - As you head West, the next (and last) big city is this home of the main campus of the University of Nebraska

$800 - If you're not heading into Wyoming, you might hop on I-76 to this capital of Nebraska's neighbor to the Southwest.

$1000 - You might wish to take a detour into the world's largest train yard, Union Pacific's Bailey Yard, in this town named for the river that runs by it.

We may be country-fried hicks out in these parts, but I thought that I should note that there really is more than one place where you can go from Iowa into Nebraska (or vice versa).

Heck, because of movement of the Missorui River, it is possible to go East from Iowa into Nebraska.

I come close to agreeing with you, but from the other direction. Calling Lincoln a big city is a hell of a stretch. Hell, calling Omaha a big city is a stretch. (Then again, I think calling Boston a big city is a stretch, too)
