Pretty straight forward stack again. But a nice run so it's a shame she wasted lifelines on ones she knew. Not that ATA is typically much help at this level.

Although I might have wasted one at 25K as well. Although that seemed the most likely answer I wasn't completely confident and might have used ATA to stall for more time to cogitate.

Cassie loves to learn. She's on a trivia team.
Two things that make her a promising contestant.
BBTranscriptTeam wrote:$7500 - "Cerebro" is the Spanish word for what organ in the human body?
A - heart
B - stomach
C - brain
D - liver

Spoiler
C - brain (24)
This was a "no-cerebro-er" for me.

FWIW "Cerebro" is the name of the mutant-tracking computer from the X-Men comic books and movies.

And Cassie is a wannabe WE®. <*sigh*>
BBTranscriptTeam wrote:$10000 - On a weather map, a curved red line with half circles is commonly used to symbolize a what?

Spoiler
B - warm front (9)
"Red" means "warm" to me, so that would have been my answer.
BBTranscriptTeam wrote:$25000 - Mentioned in the title of the documentary "Waltz with Bashir," Bashir Gemayel was killed in 1982 after becoming the president-elect of what country?

B - 48%
C - 26%
D - 13%
Cassie: "That's what I was thinking."
Spoiler
B - Lebanon (12)
I'm surprised the audience didn't split more across the four answers.

It's nihil obstat® for me.

I can eliminate Jordan (they have kings and prime ministers), but that's it. I will also ask the audience. I probably should ask Campbell, but I think she may be more useful in the upper tier than the audience.

Pretty sure this question has been asked before on PTBAM. I know this question gets asked all the time on J!

I thought this stack was very easy. I knew the answer to the $50K question before the choices came up-this is a trivia question that's been around for years.

I'd be looking at $100K with all lifelines intact-a rarity for me. However "geometry" would be troublesome for me.
I'm just a game show nerd.

THE HORN!!!!!

Cassie will return on Monday with one lifeline (Ask the Expert) remaining.

What the heck happened to Cassie!?! I was so looking forward to seeing how her game finished! Very refreshing when the young ones do well - they're booking so many lately, but unfortunately most have been brief hit and runs.

Hopefully we'll see her finish, along with our resident young'in, in some exciting displays next week!

Here's an article promoting Cassie's return appearance on Monday.

Spoiler Warning: The article reveals her next question and the correct answer.

http://www.columbiatribune.com/news/201 ... -lifeline/
Belek auditioned in August after failing to snag a spot on “Jeopardy!” She submitted a video on why she would be a good contestant and then passed an online test.
So Millionaire was her backup choice. :|
