I salute Gabriel for his humanitarianism, but there was something odd about listening to him hoping to win money on a game show so he could go back to Afghanistan, when so many Americans are being sent back there, whether they want to go or not, courtesy of Uncle Sam.

Dammit! If they had asked this question last week, I wouldn't have name-blanked on Monday's chapter of BookWorms.

I'm pretty sure we had a big mention of this on the Bored when it happened. We must have... it involved a Camaro! :D

NFC®. Ask the audience and Campbell, and hope for the best. More than likely, I'd walk with the $50,000.

I was thrilled about the offer of a free pizza, but I didn't make it over to pick it up. (I think I had a dance class or something else that interferred.) Annie may be holding a grudge about the loss of the pizza bones, even though I tried to make it up to her later.

First, you won't let her use your credit card to order one, then someone offers to give you one for free and you won't go pick it up?

Tsk!

Good for him. He really struck me as someone who cared a lot.

Absolutely no idea, and I doubt that any of the lifelines will help. But I'll use them anyway rather than let them go to waste. ATA first, then ATE. If I can't get any useful information from these lifelines, I walk away.

FWIW I guessed the correct answer from the comfort of my recliner.
