With Kynt and Vyxsin out of the running, the only couple I want to see win is TK and Rachel, and they're probably out of the running even though last night was the second non-elimination leg.
The Road Block was entertaining - and even though Christine spoke Japanese she didn't seem to have much of an advantage over Jennifer. Donald's comment about Christine attending a "falutin'" college was amusing.
It seemed that there was a minicam associated with each of the correct flowers in the shop, tiny enough not to be noticed.
Was it just I or did it seem as if the robot soccer challenge was not really all that difficult? Yes, controlling the robots with a cell phone would be hard, but it wasn't really a "game" - the opponents didn't seem to put up much of a struggle, so it was really just a matter of mastering the controls. Not surprisingly Nicolas took to it much better than his grandfather.
A three-hour time differential and a Speed Bump probably means that TK and Rachel will not make it to the final three.

I like TK and Rachel, but I also like Christine and her father. He seems to have changed his behavior, he wasn't really an asshole at all during the episode.

So what happened to the poor, gasping taxi driver? How can they taunt us with that scene and not resolve it?
With the Goths gone, I'm rooting for TK and Rachel to win, forlorn as those hopes may be now. When they said they wanted to fly to Osaka as quickly as possible, could the agent have searched for the flight that departed the soonest without bothering to check when it arrived? And TK and Rachel didn't bother to double-check? Tsk!
In that robotic soccer game, it looked like the defenders were being controlled by those other guys with far more souped up controllers than those silly cell phones. But aside from putting the defending robots through some cool looking moves, they didn't seem to be putting up much of a struggle.

Yeah, Christine commented on that during one of the interview segments. But leopards don't change their spots and I have a feeling that if the pressure builds, he'll revert to his old authoritarian ways.

One thing elwing noticed was that, unlike other episodes, the arrival times for the various flights weren't listed - I guess because that information would have spoiled the show.

I am worried for TK and Rachel, so I have decided that I will cheer for either/or Ron and Christing or Nicholas and Donald. I chortled out loud when, once again, the Jeninator was denied her muchly desired first. She seems to feel entitled because they haven't yet made it in first.
Ron has really worked hard to keep up, and I don't dislike him because he is being exactly the father he is...he hasn't been able to view his daughter as an adult yet. Seems to be slowly changing.
Nick and Don are doing so well. How many other 69 year olds would have been even close to keeping up with the others.
Unfortunately, with the usual heavy physical aspect of the last legs of the race, I fully expect the Gnat and Whinifer team to take this race...which will make be queasy.

One of the previews seem to suggest that Rachel and TK get bunched up with the group next week (no doubt planned that way by the producers) so perhaps all hope isn't lost for them.
No longer have a real favorite, just an "unfavorite". That would be the Bickersons.
Also looked like this last rest period was more than 12 hours as again they did not annouce the arrival times when they gave the departing times at the start. That and they arrived in daylight and left in daylight suggests it was 18 hours or more.
They seem to do that at least once or twice a series. It may help with bunching folks up as I am sure some schlub on the production team is responsible for knowing when flights leave a location to help bunch folks up as needed.

I'm not sure that this qualifies as spoiler-worthy. One of the reasons they may have longer rest periods is to give the racers a chance to catch up on their rest - most of the time they have only 12 hours from the time they arrive at the Pit Stop until they depart, often in the wee hours. And with all the plane travel, time zone shifts and such, I suspect they (the racers) need a longer break at least once.

There are two older racers this year who will probably be heading into the final 3. I suspect that the show will give them a nice long rest period so that they will be more competitive for the final round.

I liked that Nicholas is finally being a man. The way he took his granddad's bag and didn't get puffed up about doing it touched my heart.
Ron is doing great and is really trying. I am hoping he connects the trying part to the winning part and it reinforces that trying part.
If the blonde chick doesn't stop he negative attitude I will smack her.
