One would think it was springtime around here - the temperature this morning at 5AM was 64 degrees and the high will be arouind 70.
Yesterday afternoon our worship ministry group "undecorated" our sanctuary and building of all the Advent and Christmas visuals. It's a sad time - the sanctuary is a beautiful thing with its stained glass windows and deep wood coloration, but it looks rather barren after removing all the garlands of green, the Christmon tree and all the associated items. And Ash Wednesday is only a month away (February 6).
