...I bought
this today:
I thought of waiting till next week to get it -- if they lose tomorrow, maybe the VA Canteen would drop the price another 20 bucks. But OTOH, it might be sold out by then (as happened last year!)
Yep.....gonna jinx 'em. It sure looks great on my porch though!

Yup...looks like he is!
This is my 3rd giant snowglobe, joining the Halloween Ghost & the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree. Plus, the numerous normal-sized ones I've been collecting since age 9!
Hee...I'm starting to think I may have an obsession

Yeah, we posed for this image back on February 5, 2006. Not our only business that evening of course.

I hear Football Baby Boy will not be playing tonight. Makes me sad.
I want to squash Jax. My sister is talking trash. She must be slienced.

Hmmmm.....I'm not sure which Baby Boy you mean! If it's this one:
http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/08005/846963-66.stm, he's supposed to play
We're on our way to the hospital in a few minutes! Hopefully we'll have our
own Baby Boy by 8 tonight
But I'm leaving the snow globe on all day!

That is him!
Thanks for the photo - is he a cutie, or what?
I am growing very fond of Tomlin. I like the way he speaks.

Geez, they make it look like I've put on a bunch of weight or something!
I think you are mistaken, though. I'd recognize that Bill Leavy beergut anywhere....

Guy down the street has one of them. There's actually a fair number of Steeler fans in my neck of the woods.
I never went for the inflatable decorations myself, though.

And you don't know how many times I edited that phrase to try and find a phrase that couldn't be considered in that manner.
I underestimated the dirty minds of some folks on these boards, I guess!

Eh....jinxed 'em all right
I always leave my Christmas tree & lights up till after Epiphany (tomorrow), so I'll probably leave the globe up till Monday & then put it away till fall.
BTW, I know some folks want to take everything down for New Years (or even before) & others like me leave 'em up till Epiphany -- but
this is ridiculous!

You didn't jinx them.
The coaching staff turned into gutless wonders again like they have in other games this season.
The playcalling sequence when we had the ball with 4 minutes left made me want to puke.
Totally gutless. Two plunges and a QB draw that they didn't even try to SELL as a pass.
Totally gutless "play not to lose" crap.
Their gutlessness had nothing to do with your snowglobe (although maybe with the ref there, there was "karma"- they don't all blatant holding on the Jags all night, but a non-existent hold on Mahan on the 2-point try gets called. But that doesn't matter- the gutless, weak-assed, pussy playcalling at the end snatched victory away).
I'm drunk and tired and angry. I'll be better later on today.

Did anyone notice that the Jagoffs' QB (Garrard?) has a habit of
licking his hands before a play????
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Heinz Field is real dirt & grass, too, so he's licking a heckuva lot of germs there!
Leah thought maybe he figures the other team won't want to touch the ball as it's all covered with spit

Well....look out in about 22 years -- with John-Angelo's prodigious size, he'll be a football player for sure! Of course, he's got really long fingers too -- maybe a musician like his Dad? And a great big head with a great big brain -- computer genius like Karen? Yep.....gonna be the world's greatest Musician-Pittsburgh Steeler-Computer Genius- Astronaut-Rocket Scientist-Cowboy-Brain Surgeon!
