It's going to be a girl

My granddaughter, Leanna, will be induced on Thursday if she doesn't do it naturally before then.
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Thanks. I wasn't expecting to be a double great-grandfather at 57. :(

Yay, babies all around!

I was a grandma at 36, & a grandma 5 more times in 6 years. Now I'm 49 & a grandma of 7! Ranging from less than a day old to 13.

But don'tcha know -- 49 is considered elderly -- at least if you need a mumps vaccine because you didn't get 'em in childhood. Yep, my doctor had to look into proper vaccine recommendations for "the elderly patient!"

Yes...expecting a four-legged baby this spring! 8)

However, fwh asks me about it constantly. We practice all the time :wink: , however, I am 46. I love children, but, I don't think I can have any. Been going thru menopause and have endometriosis.

Baby boom in BB land

Hi All! I haven't been online here in a while, busy with our FIRST Robotics activities at the high school where Fred and I mentor a team, but I was struck by the baby explosion here on the Bored. We are joining the fray as first time grandparents of 57 as well - our daughter Jocelyn and her ever-loving are expecting their first in late April-early May. They know the baby's gender, but aren't telling..... :D
