Catherine said this showed that her daughter was going to be a great businesswoman. If she let herself get talked down from $1 million to $50, I think she needs to work on her negotiation technique!

Aren't there two correct answers to this question? There are (or used to be) seat belt ignition interlocks that required the belts to be fastened before the engine would start. Was the "can be added" phrase enough to make B the only correct answer, since the seat belt interlocks were typically factory-installed instead of an aftermarket device?

So I'm not the only one here who had heard of both devices.

Nonetheless, I did pick B because the "ignition interlock device" that determines whether a person is sober or drunk has been in the news a lot recently. The one involving the seat belt... not as much, but I have heard of it.

I didn't get this one at first, but then "recent film" jumped out.

I wonder if "D" would have been her other choice. I seem to recall that some cars were made with interlock devices that wouldn't allow the car to start unless the seat belt was buckled.
