3:21AM and I'm still up. Really wasn't all that bad, but babies tend to like to come during normal sleeping hours. We got to the hospital about 9:30PM.
1:30AM 6 lbs 4 oz
Chapman Timothy Harris
Seems to be fine. Never cried on bit while we were with him (and there were
11 of us in the room besides the parents.) May as well get him used to it from the beginning.
I've had enough caffeine that I am no where near sleepy. Maybe it will wear off soon.

Cleaning lady comes on Friday mornings at 7:30, so I got all of 3 hours sleep. A nap will be in order this afternoon.
Thanks for asking about Payton. She went to her doctor yesterday and she claims they took 4 vials of blood from her. They are looking at either pancreas, gall bladder or ulcer (at 16, yikes!).
She still gets the pain on occasion and is really not eating. Hope the tests can isolate the problem & get her on the road to recovery.

Her pancreas, gall bladder and stomach are far enough apart they should be able to tell which it might be from where the pain is. If it's the pancreas, the blood test will show that. If they don't find anything else, strongly suggest they do an ultrasound of her gall bladder. If I hadn't had insisted on having mine done I'd be long dead from cancer of the gall bladder.

Yippee! Congratulations on the new grandbaby! We'll be looking for a new avatar to appear with your name in the near future . . .
Appropos of nothing -- I really like the name Chapman. It's rare enough to be distinctive, without being too out there or trendy. Kudos to the selection process!

Thanks! Chapman is a family name. I was a bit surprised when they decided to use it for his first name.
