A more difficult version of this question was the $32,000 question the one and only time I spoke to Regis. I was unable to give the contestant sufficient help, and she walked with $16,000. --Bob

I do not recall the question. Did it ask the contestant to name the feuding parties? (It is odd for PTBAM to have a $32,000 question that one would call difficult, especially in comparison to the syndicated version.)

The original question asked what issue was spoofed in "The Butter Battle Book".

I think she had Yertle the Turtle confused with "Bert" the Turtle who advised people to "Duck and Cover" if they saw the flash of the nuclear bomb.

I guess that its difficulty was found in the choices of wrong answers.

I'm beginning to think that $50K is the new million with the present-day SyndieBAM. No advance press or TV promos for big winners in the middle of ratings sweeps month. And more contestants walking or crashing before $25K. This is not the same show we came to know and love.

I'd say $25K is the new million.
I knew 7 of the 10 ToT $1M questions cold. My score on the recent $25K ones (when they got that far) is worse.
