WWTBAM Bored

From looking at everybody's answers, it looks like I got the second math question wrong. About the multiples and adding the numbers. Everybody said 3 and 9, I said 2 and 3.

My first thought was 9, being a magic number and all, but I'd just answered 9 to the Chisenbop question, so I did a few quick examples on 2 and I can't think of why that wouldn't be right. Obviously, I'm no mathlete, but can someone explain why that wouldn't work? Every multiple of 2 has to be even so adding them would come up with an even answer, right?

Unless I didn't understand the question which is quite likely. Ha!

After I answered the QOD I was doing examples and they were all working out. Then I was typing this, I realized that perhaps I should learn to add better. Or maybe start at, like 12, instead of immediately hopping into the 20s. Ha!

take 97 - the sum of the digits is 16, which is a multiple of two, but 97 is not. Did that make sense, in light of your question?

I was just multiplying things by 2, then adding them. But I think I was just automatically reducing them because I'm used to doing that for numerology. Or something. Who knows what goes on in my head? Ha!

First day is physics. Today is math. It can only go uphill from here, right?
