Oooh, two teachers in a row!

I guess the Amy Winehouse joke was too easy.

I would not have known this if Meredith hadn't pronounced "arrondissements" the way she did.

Either very clever or very evil. I got sucked right into the xaphoon and crashed.

C'mon, wasn't everyone a huge fan of The Hooters (no snickering!) back in the day? Their fondness of the melodica was a bit of a gimmick of theirs.

A funny moment in the aftermath of this question. Meredith clearly says, "Well, you pulled that one out of your ass..."

Doh!

I'm guessing he's a high-school physics teacher judging from the comments he made.

I guess Enterprise wasn't a "classic".

Another WWOQ that could have been answered by a Google PAF. Do TPTB expect people to get to the third tier with questions like this? Sheesh!

As for me...I know an ocarina is a wind instrument but it's more like a flute, and a sackbut is a type of trombone. I have no idea what a xaphoon is, and I'm not sure about melodica. I don't think either the expert or the audience will know this, so let's use the Double Dip.

No idea on this one, either, but maybe the audience does.

That's how I knew this one.

Also knew what a Xaphoon was- one of my daughter's friends in the band has one.

Would have probably gone with Xaphoon w/o these two pieces of knowledge.

$7,500- I didn't watch this- was thinking Double Dip (knew it wasn't Amsterdam or Rome), but hearing what people said about how Meredith pronounced it, probably would have gotten it).

$10K- would have been an ATA as well- I now know it because I was just in Puerto Rico, but I wouldn't have known it at taping time.

$25K- sigh- they just don't want anyone getting there, do they? Or is this well-known Tennessee Williams' trivia? I would have Double-Dipped here and got it, though- could eliminate Waiting for Godot (came out in the 50s, but I know the original script was written in the 40s- before this story) and Barefoot in the Park.

Isla del Encanto is Spanish, and the only Spanish-speaking choice is Puerto Rico. I didn't know that's what it was called though.
