And Happy New Year all you BB's.

I will have to write a trip report in Word and post it here when I can.

The Magic Kingdom is an awesome place to ring in the new year, even if it is without champagne.

christie - who is happy to be home even if it is 8 degreees outside.

I am glad that you are safe.

I wonder if you got the same black hats and noisemakers that we got on the West Coast.

I assume they are the same. We did get black top hats and gold noisemakers.

While waiting outside one of the rides the attendant was compaining about how early they gave out the noisemakers. We knew what she meant within a couple of minutes. Children and immature guys made them get old really fast.

One other funny from the Jungle Ride you will relate to: While on the ride the guy went around the boat asking where everyone was from, Argentina, Canada, Brazil, Italy, Connecticut (us) and then the family from CA. The driver says 'You know they have one of these parks out there and they even have one of these rides. Sorry I didn't tell you earlier, could have saved you quite a long drive.' Funny at the time.

Do you go every year? They told us to be in the park by 10 am or you might not get in. Daughter1111 was marching around then so it really didn't matter anywho.

We used to go to Napa Rose for their early New Year's Eve seating, then head over to California Adventure. This year we just showed up to California Adventure. Because we have passes, we don't have to worry about getting into the parks, even though Disneyland sold out of the evening.

There wasn't enough live entertainment to keep us interested and the rides had long lines. Plus, it was windy and cold and we all just decided that we would have more fun at home.

I bought a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Champagne at Sam's Club and California Adventure was selling it for twice as much. I am sure that they made a killing on their alcohol sales.
