Crowne Plaza and Baby Boy are partnering. I want to be part of the deal.
seriously
They are doing commercials with 'real people'.

I am going to make a video and send it in. I am going to put myself in the "biggest fan' category and maybe throw in some advice along the way.
Anyone have any inventive ideas on what I can do or say?
I was thinking of leading with his name isn't Phil, it's Pea's Baby Boy (although I will use my name, I think) - you guys are so inventive, I bet you can come up with something I could pull off and end up in a national TV ad.
What fun!

I like the Baby Boy bit but we need to see how you came to call him that. Expand it a little, beyond just calling him Baby Boy. Show a sequence where we see you coming up with the name.
Maybe you could be his caddy. Show yourself toting clubs. Might be able to PhotoShop a pic of yourself toting clubs with a pic of him walking the greens.
For the video, choose music such as Clarence Clemons/Jackson Browne "You're a Friend of Mine" or "That's What Friends Are For" - maybe use Stevie Wonder's harmonica instrumental part on that one.

Wow - that's inspired! Great ideas here, Peaby. THis will happen, no doubt about it. It'll be terrific.

Take your bra off, dangle it, and coo: Hey Baby Boy ... you can borrow my bra anytime you want.
Either that, or go with what (according to the old urban legend) Arnold Palmer's wife told Carson that time.

What's the limit on the length of the video?
I like skoop's idea of showing how you came up with the name.
And showing how, because he is your Baby Boy, you will do anything for him.
Can you knit little caps for his golf clubs? In the video, I mean.

You could take footage of yourself with a doll and have some brilliant computer folks enhance the video to include Baby Boy's face on the face of the doll. You could be reading Golf Magazine to him or some such tome.
Does he have favorite things that are common knowledge? Favorite colors/foods/sayings/quirks?
You are perfect for this.
Perhaps you could send video of you on WWTBAM and then show that you know all the Phil trivia? You could pose as Phil's press double. Answering the questions for him. Giving the interviews for him. Working in his phrases, stats etc.
You will come up with the right idea. I know it. Have fun!
