10 degrees here in the "gateway to the South" - I blame the Canadians. It's their cold air, smuggled in on a jet stream, that's causing this cold weather.peacock2121 wrote:4 in Pine Plains.

Humbug. A difference of 58 degrees is still a difference of 58 degrees.andrewjackson wrote:29 down here in Houston.
That's like -29 for y'all, relatively speaking.
Must be a special delivery from Saucy!MarleysGh0st wrote: A warm front coming from Canada!?
If you can call 27° "warm". Seeing how it's replacing 9°, you might.MarleysGh0st wrote:The current weather map is kind of strange. Some rain on the west coast, with the rest of the country dominated by two big high pressure systems, and no other significant weather systems or fronts.
But there's a warm front moving east through Manitoba and North Dakota.
A warm front coming from Canada!?
Yesterday morning it was 5 degrees here in KC.peacock2121 wrote:4 in Pine Plains.

kusch is much too much of a gentleman to say it so I will:We're at 0.
You obviously need to get fuzzier.fuzzywuzzy wrote:Yesterday morning it was 5 degrees here in KC.peacock2121 wrote:4 in Pine Plains.

This morning = 20 degrees feels like six degrees.
The problem however is not the temperature outside, the problem is the temperature inside my office this am = 55 degrees. I have my space heater on maxium capacity. They know about the problem, but, there is nothing that they can do. I share a thermostat with a research mouse room, and they like it 62 degrees.
However, they are inside, my office has two windows, that are not totally insulated, therefore, its cold in here! Hey, they have fur coats covering their little mouse butts! I have on longjohns, polartech socks, and warm shoes. Its coooooooolllllllllldddddddd in heeeeerrrrrrrrreeeeee!

Hey, you didn't hear any whining from me.ne1410s wrote:kusch is much too much of a gentleman to say it so I will:We're at 0.

Oh, my! I hope you can find your jacket!PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:It's supposed to be 64 degrees here today, with a slight chance of rain.
I know where my jacket is, but sometimes I can't find my gloves. It gets down into the 40s at night.MarleysGh0st wrote:Oh, my! I hope you can find your jacket!PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:It's supposed to be 64 degrees here today, with a slight chance of rain.
I remember an evening that got cool at California Adventure; all the locals bundled up as if there were a blizzard coming!PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote: I know where my jacket is, but sometimes I can't find my gloves. It gets down into the 40s at night.
I supposed it's all a matter of what you are used to.MarleysGh0st wrote:I remember an evening that got cool at California Adventure; all the locals bundled up as if there were a blizzard coming!PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote: I know where my jacket is, but sometimes I can't find my gloves.
