Reviewing The Royals

No, this is not about baseball. Lady G and I sat down to watch The Queen the other night. And we were both laughing at how well they chose actors to portray their counterparts. Helen Mirren looked just like The Queen as did the actors prortaying the Queen Mum, Tony Blair and Prince Philip. The only one of the main characters that did not resemble his counterpart was Prince Charles. But, we both laughed during the scene where he got off an airplane and you saw him walking away. We both thought, then that he had perfected Charles' walk and other mannerisms even if he did not look like him facially. And, even though we are overly burnt out by all things Diana, we enjoyed this movie. We also weren't aware that Prince Philip was such a grumpy old man. Helen Mirren did deserve her Oscar for her portrayal.
