And maybe a foreboding hint of a spoiler?
Spoiler
"I knew all the questions; they were pretty easy, but I wanted to make sure I had them right," he said. "I was excited I made it up to $10,000, and I was glad I didn't have to use any lifelines. The bad thing is I didn't have a phone-a-friend, which comes into play later. But it was an enjoyable experience, and it was great being there."

I think Andy can reach the upper tier. He ought to be well prepared for the $100K "Ohio" question.
