5 Stickies and 3 Announcements.

I assume some of the Sticky posts will be un-Stickied eventually.

The two top Announcements will lose their "Sticky"ness tonight or tomorrow. I've already unStickied the Otto poll. --Bob

A "sticky" thread is a thread that sticks to the top of the front page, even if no one has posted in it recently. It's usually useful for important information, or just a thread that you want to make sure that everyone sees. Announcements are essentially the same thing, except that they sit up above even the sticky threads. Admins and moderators are the only ones that have the ability to "sticky" or "unsticky" a thread.

It was getting a bit cluttered at the top, and if I'd had much of a chance to check in yesterday, I would've cleaned up a bit. As it is, I think I'll remove a couple more threads that aren't getting posted in as much now.

In fact, sometime in the next few days, I'll put most of the pertinent info (a link to my first post explaining things, info about spoiler tags and avatars and such) into a single master FAQ thread, and just leave that at the top.

Thanks!

So, we can request that one of the moderator's sticky or unsticky something and we can not make something a sticky.

Works for me.
