Is the wording of this question a little off? Wouldn't it be more accurate to say "an irregular border" (or even "an irregular section of the border") instead of "the irregular border?" The wording seems to imply that the river forms the entire border between the two states which is not the case with Illinois and Indiana, whose border is only partially irregular.

Good point. They might also have called it "the irregular portion of the border between Illinois and what neighboring state," but that would have given too much information away to the geographically astute, who knew that Illinois had such a hybrid border with only one other state. OTOH, anyone who knew that much would have gotten the question as actually presented, despite its imprecision. As already mentioned regarding the "insects" category, the question writers weren't being particularly precise, this day.

IIRC, the show has asked about the Wabash being a state border already. Perhaps that was back on prime time?
