Apparently there's been a rule change this year. Injured players now can be replaced on the playoff roster. The Yankees have used this rule to replace Roger Clemens with Ron Villone. Because he was replaced mid-series, Clemens will not be eligible for the American League Championship Series, should the Yankees complete the comeback and advance that far. --Bob
